CIRCUMSCRIBED SCLERODERMA AND LYME-BORRELIOSIS

Abstract

The result of serologic investigations of 18 patients with circumscribed scleroderma are presented in the article. Of the patients included in the study 22,2 % had diagnostic titers of anti-borrelia antibody. According to our opinion this result should be considered as serologic evidence of borrelia-coused disease. It`s recommended to administer complete course of antimicrobial treatment with benzylpenicillin for every patients with circumscribed scleroderma, who have diagnostic titer of antiborrelia antibody.
