Study of Biochemical Indicators in Patients with Unspecified Infection of the Subcutaneous Fatty Tissue (Bacterial Cellulitis)
Abstract
The study examined blood biochemical parameters in patients with unspecified infection of the subcutaneous fatty tissue (bacterial cellulitis). Biochemical blood analysis was performed for all patients using a Screen Master analyzer, with values assessed according to the international system of units. Slight elevations of total cholesterol and beta-lipoproteins were identified, while no changes in the other investigated biochemical parameters were detected. Among some of the examined women, concomitant gastrointestinal pathology, excess body weight, and obesity were reported; after consultation with a gastroenterologist, choleretic drugs and hepatoprotectors were prescribed.Downloads
