Psychosomatic Changes in Persons with Psoriatic Disease
Abstract
The study aimed to substantiate the value of psychodiagnosis in patients with psoriasis as part of the diagnostic criteria required to improve the etiopathogenetic treatment program. Clinical psychodiagnosis was performed in 75 patients with widespread disease, psoriatic erythroderma, or arthropathic psoriasis, using tests assessing depressive state and emotional attitudes toward the disease according to the V. Zung scale. Depressive disorders of varying severity were identified in most examined patients, while pronounced conditions required psychotherapist consultation. The scale was recommended for determining the need for consultation, selecting therapy, and monitoring its effectiveness.Downloads
