Abstract

The article examines diagnostic and comprehensive treatment approaches for combined lesions of the female genitourinary tract associated with pronounced bacterial vaginosis, altered immune status resulting from viral lesions, and detection of Trichomonas organisms. The authors considered the polyetiological nature of the process, vaginal biocenosis and pH, hormonal and immune changes, and possible systemic involvement. Treatment regimens combining either Genferon or Eberon-α with measures to normalize mucosal biocenosis and pH were compared; Eberon-α showed higher reported effectiveness, while the authors emphasized that addressing underlying causes is necessary to reduce recurrent manifestations.
