Current Trends in Scientific Pedagogy and Practice in Cosmetology

Abstract

The article examines contemporary practical, scientific, and pedagogical aspects of cosmetology and the training of specialists in this field. It describes the development, at the Department of Dermatovenereology with a Course in Cosmetology of Zaporizhzhia State Medical University, of thematic advanced-training programs for pharmacist-cosmetologists, pharmacists, and physicians. The authors emphasize the need for prior education in basic dermatology, qualified oversight of cosmetic product production, integration with other departments and higher educational institutions, and preparation of academic and teaching staff.
