EXPERIENCE OF USING THE STOP DEMODEX PREPARATION IN THE TREATMENT OF COMBINED FACIAL SKIN PATHOLOGIES
Abstract
The article presents experience with topical use of the Stop Demodex product line in 20 patients aged 18–56 years with seborrheic dermatitis, acne, rosacea, or perioral dermatitis complicated by laboratory-confirmed demodicosis. The regimen included a mild cleansing facial soap, a therapeutic-prophylactic balm, and an eyelid gel when ocular involvement was present; the soap and balm were used twice daily, with the balm applied for 45 days. Reduced cutaneous inflammation was observed on days 4–5, followed by a marked decrease in eruptions and reduced sebum secretion by day 12. Tolerability was good, and the treatment was considered effective and safe for these facial dermatoses.Downloads
