Features of the Course of Psoriatic Disease in the Lviv Region
Abstract
The study aimed to comprehensively examine the clinical course of psoriatic disease in different age groups in the Lviv region. From 2007 to 2010, 315 patients receiving inpatient treatment were examined, with analysis of disease prevalence and forms, stages, seasonality, comorbidities, family history, and possible precipitating factors. Extensive, moderate-severity, progressive, and winter forms predominated, while arthropathy and concomitant diseases were frequent. In older patients, the disease was more severe and prolonged, confirming its medical and social importance and the need for effective pathogenetic therapy.Downloads
