Modern Approaches to the Etiological Diagnosis of Allergodermatoses
Abstract
The article examines problems in the clinical and etiological diagnosis of allergic dermatoses, which commonly develop against a background of chronic infection foci and somatic pathology. Food, drug, chemical, pollen, bacterial, and household factors are identified among the possible causes, while diagnosis is often performed without documenting the dermatological status and relies mainly on skin tests associated with numerous contraindications. The proposed approach assigns clinical and etiological assessment to dermatologists in dermatovenereological institutions, with specific immunological tests used only when indicated.Downloads
