Experience with the Comprehensive Treatment of Demodicosis
Abstract
The article summarizes the experience of complex therapy for demodicosis in 57 patients aged 17–40 years whose diagnoses were confirmed by microscopic examination. Patients received correction of concomitant pathology, meratin, ribomunil, and cryomassage; the second group additionally used Efaclar K emulsion. Laboratory examination showed absence of the mite in 87% of patients in the second group compared with 61% in the first, while regression of skin eruptions began 5–6 days earlier; treatment tolerance was generally satisfactory.Downloads
